Event Coordinator

(Immediate responsibilities)

  • Respond in a timely manner (within 24h) to event enquiries that come in via our website, email and WhatsApp.
  • Create & send invoices for each event, ensuring payment is completed by the due date.
  • Liaise with clients (via emails and online calls) in relation to corporate events that require tournament organisation and/or catering, and any other elements that require planning from SPC side to ensure the club is fully prepared and clients’ expectations are met.
  • Communicate with kitchen and coaching / operations team where necessary to ensure all information is passed to the correct teams in advance of events.
  • Ensure adequate staff have been allocated to each event (via operations manager).
  • Host and co-host events.
  • Work with existing events & ops team to understand the court booking process and how the club’s booking grid is devised.
  • Emphasis on creating full court occupancy, particularly during off-peak hours.

(Longer term responsibilities)

  • Work with existing events team to analyse existing event packages and pricing, with a view to improving and developing existing offer.
  • Enhance existing club & LTA tournament experiences via the creation of tournament day events and initiatives.
  • Increase the range & number of club community events for club players & regular customers to keep community engagement high.
  • Work with SPC’s partners & sponsors to deliver specific branding events that bring those organisations and our customers together.

Content Creator-part time

Main responsibilities:

  • Create engaging photo, video, reel and story content for social media platforms.
  • Plan and maintain a consistent calendar aligned with the club’s activities, events and marketing objectives.
  • Capture day-to-day club activities, socials, tournaments and events.
  • Edit and produce high-quality visual content suitable for digital platforms.
  • Writing captions and social media copy that reflect the club’s tone and brand identity.
  • Manage community interaction by responding to comments, messages and tags in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with coaches, staff and sponsors to promote club initiatives and partnerships.
  • Track social media performance and provide insight on audience growth and engagement.

Duty manager (part-time and full-time): As a Duty manager, you will be overseeing the daily operations of the sports club, ensuring all areas are running smoothly and efficiently. Customer service is key for this role; you will be addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for all members and visitors.  As part of the role, you will be trained to work in all areas of the business, including our bookings platform, café and bar, shop, greeting customers and hosting events. We are looking for a very social person who can work well with others and in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about sport, especially padel, of course! Previous experience in hospitality is preferred. We offer a competitive salary, based on experience.
 
Coach: we are looking for motivated coaches (part-time, full-time, and freelance) to be part of our fantastic team. Organisation and communication skills are key to this role. The right candidate would have to obtain and maintain a coaching qualification and accreditation, be in possession of a valid DBS, and hold valid first aid and safeguarding certificates. We are looking for coaches truly passionate about padel and who can become ambassadors for our vibrant club and community.
