At Stratford Padel Club, we believe that padel is not just about competition and skills, it’s about making lasting connections. While the thrill of the game initially draws players in, it’s the lasting bond and camaraderies formed that make them lifelong members. We pride ourselves on building a welcoming community united by a shared passion and driven by acceptance, inclusion, and a great sense of belonging. On our courts, high-fives outnumber fist-bumps. Laughter echoes louder than grunts. And post-match beers taste better alongside friends. Set across the road from the iconic location of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the club offers pay and play matches, private and group lessons, corporate and social events and tournaments.
Owned by a group of friends, with no input from large investors or private equity houses, we were committed to increasing sports participation since our launch in Dec 2018.
Now, we have achieved numbers that show how we lead the way in the sport:
- Largest number of players registered: over 20000
- Highest number of tournaments ever hosted in the UK: over 130 and counting
- Largest tournaments in the country, including the LTA Grade 1 and 2 and the FIP RISE, with record participation each time
- Largest female participation in the sport, and largest women tournaments ever held in the UK
- Largest number of corporates organising team building events at our club: over 150, most of them repeat clients
- Highest level of court occupancy recorded in the UK, with minimum 3 courts a day dedicated to coaching
